Michael joined EverCare in February 2016 as its corporate compliance officer.

Michael has over 30 years of experience in the corporate compliance field. His background includes work in compliance integrity in the defense industry, 13 years as president of the board of directors for a non-profit adult home care center, and as chief compliance officer at a skilled nursing facility for its five offices in the Hudson Valley.

Michael is a certified compliance executive with Health Ethics Trust, a division of the Council of Ethical Organizations. He serves on its annual Best Practices Forum Committee and has contributed as a writer, reviewer, and presenter. In 2017, Michael was recognized as a Fellow of the Trust, the highest compliance honor reserved for healthcare compliance officers and healthcare executives. He has written over 110 published articles on healthcare and business topics, grants, and a best-selling book, and chaired or co-chaired over 65 business and golf events. Michael has also served on Governor Andrew Cuomo’s NYS Healthcare Marketplace Committee.

Michael has been involved with many area and regional organizations, such as several chamber of commerces, Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress, Newburgh Prep Charter High School, and serves on the Boards of the SUNY New Paltz School of Business and the Catskill Hudson Area Health Education Center.

Michael earned his degree in business administration from Marist College. He and his wife, Ann, have two children, Laura and Michael, who both live in the Hudson Valley.
